MONCLER
OPENS COPENHAGEN FLAGSHIP STORE
BY MARISSA TOZZI
Moncler never fails to remain true to its heritage, one that flawlessly harmonizes luxury and utilitarianism in the most innovative way. And the Italian brand recently announced the relocation of their Copenhagen flagship store (opened in 2011), settling into a highly reputable Danish spot — Østergade street 36-3.
Totaling a surface area of about 540 square meters (5,800 square feet), the 2-story boutique features several rooms — each dedicated to the brands’ different collections. One room is devoted to Moncler men’s collections, and the next room represents Moncler women’s collections and Moncler Enfant. The third and final room is entirely dedicated to Moncler Grenoble, which features a completely new concept to market the sporting collection — including a large window display to allow the use of natural light to give a radiant glow to the room.
Showcasing the creative concept of Gilles & Boissier architecture studio, a former brand collaborator, the store conveys a distinctive Nordic flavor through the presentation of elegant designs, complementary materials and furnishings, eye-catching marble patterns and more.
Seems to us like the new location of this Moncler flagship highly supports the technical aspect of the brand and originality of their niche.
