The Victoria’s Secret Angels fly you into their very own miniseries, giving you a behind the scenes look into all the hard work that goes into creating the beloved Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show. This lucid process brings fans along for the ride, and we think it’s quite genius.

The retailer got transparent with the series opening. Newly released episodes 3 & 4 take us into the detailed creation of the extraordinary pieces that are tailor-made for this event. These pieces take about 2-3 months to complete — designers first discussing who they are as artists and how to adapt their skills to make the angels’ wings. These works of art transform from their humble beginnings of being tiny pieces astray on the ground, into the spectacular, beautiful structures gracing the runway that we so fawn over. These finished products are created with the goal in mind to make the show amazing and larger than life.

Let’s not forget about casting… episode 4 uncovers the 2015 live-casting process, taking place a mere10 days before the show. Casting director John Pfeiffer receives 400-500 models’ submissions in hopes of becoming a VS Angel. He whittles that down to 100 girls in the last casting call. Tears and emotions were high as the models strut their stuff and explain why they want to be in the 2015 Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show.
