The “iconic white t-shirt” is celebrated with new imagery brought to you by rag & bone’s 2019 Photo Project.

Rag & Bone tapped supermodel Helena Christensen and musician Gabriel-Kane Day-Lewis to head up the brand’s imagery, alongside L.A.-based twin-sister band, Say Lou Lou and former professional skateboarder, Peter Bici. Quentin De Briey lensed the photo project — taken against New York City’s iconic backdrop, and the home to rag & bone.

In addition to the prints, the cast collaborates with rag & bone to produce a limited run of 100 t-shirts which will be sold on rag-bone.com, as well as exclusively in the brand’s SoHo flagship store in New York City starting May 16th. Each of the contributing members will provide a self-portrait to be printed exclusively on the tees — drawing inspiration off the culture and attitude of New York City. 20% of sales will profit their charity of choice.

Working with such an eclectic group of people on the new images gave us an opportunity to celebrate the versatility of the white t-shirt. To this day, the t-shirt is incredibly important to rag & bone, as we’ve worked to perfect the cut, fit, wash and fabric. Those little details can transform an icon into something truly special.

This event will also officially kick off the brand’s new customizable t-shirt printing service, where the “iconic white t-shirt” effectively becomes a blank canvas for customers to print their own original images, in real-time. This limited-time offer will be available at stores in SoHo as well as in Sloane Square, London.

May will also present the launch of rag & bone’s customizable embroidery service available on an assortment of men’s and women’s tees, starting May 6th on rag-bone.com.
